The natural beauty of Railay Beach

Updated: Aug 23, 2021

You see, Thailand is a WONDERFUL place! It may not have lots and lots of monuments, but it is well-known for it's natural beauty... So, that is exactly what we are going to talk about today! So, any guesses? Let me reveal! Railay Beach! But before we dive in, I have made something very special for you!

Trivia Time!

Did you know that Thailand is the only south-eastern Asian country that was never colonized by any English country! And coincidentally, it's name means "Land of the Free". Very appropriate!

Thailand is a place where you can find both the biggest and smallest creatures. The smallest mammal in the world, the bumblebee bat, calls Thailand home. You can also find the largest fish, the whale shark, in Thai waters.

One-tenth of the entire population of Thailand lives in Bangkok. It is the capital of this great nation, and, of course, the largest city!

Railay, also known as Rai Leh, is a small island between the city of Ao Nang and Krabi in Thailand. It is approachable only by boat due to high limestone cliffs blocking mainland access. These cliffs attract many rock climbers from all over the world, but the area is also popular due to its beautiful beaches and quiet, relaxing atmosphere...

There are two parts of the Beach, east and west. The eastern side of the beach is the docking point for boats arriving from Krabi. It is covered in thick mangroves and not suitable for swimming. West Railay Beach is connected to the east side by trails through thin jungle cover or by paths through the large resorts. It is the primary destination for beach-lovers in Railay. The beach is surrounded by high limestone cliffs on either side.

How to get there?

Now, "how to get there?" is a big question... Luckily we have the answer! Follow these steps and you'll get there in no time!

First you need to book a flight to Phuket International Airport from wherever you are... Once you've reached there, you need to either take a ferry or a bus to railay Beach. Easy, huh?

In all things of Nature, there is something marvellous.
